О блокировке Dreamwidth Роскомнадзором

Техподдержка Dreamwidth сказала, что прогибаться они не будут и их позиция принципиальная. Пользуйтесь проксями для обхода. Поддерживаю и пользуюсь. Уходить с Dreamwidth не собираюсь.

We do know that Dreamwidth has been placed on the blacklist, but there's nothing we can do about it. We can't really make changes to our entire network structure just to work around a third party's blacklisting -- doing so is a significant undertaking and there's nothing to say that something similar won't happen again.

One of our guiding principles is supporting our users' free expression, as long as that content is legal under United States law. The post that's been placed on the blacklist is legal, so we aren't going to require the user to remove or edit it. It's definitely unfortunate that this means many people in Russia aren't able to access the site because of it, but people who are affected can use a reliable and secure encrypting proxy to bypass the restrictions. I'm really sorry about the inconvenience.
